Reckon they were much more likely to fail you so they could get some work out of you.
It certainly seemed that way , perhaps one of the reasons why the garage/motor trade has a bad name. But also satisfying when you find one you can trust...... especially with our specialist vehicles.

What will the future hold for classics and replica's and the like in 50 years or so and beyond ? Will everyone be driving electric and fuel cell cars ? Will you even be able to buy petrol to put in your classic ?? Who knows ?!!

2manytoys – Congratulations on your MOT and very nice looking paint job.

Also, I think you are the first kit I’ve seen with the extra lights fitted either side of the grille.

Finally, I’m also a big fan fitting an “A” reg plate to this type of kit (I put a “C”reg on my car).

Enjoy, Paul.

Thanks Paul for the kind words . Yes i cut the fog lamps apertures to suit the fork lift spot lights i had, after glassing in the rather large brake vent holes (to make room for fogs) and bonding in smaller brake ducts. (the n/s duct pulls in air to the air filter/induction system.
I believe its the detail that makes the difference on these cars (even if only humble Mx5 4 cylinder based) hence the 1963 plate, Lancia /Ferrari wing repeaters , chrome surround front indicators, chromed wipers etc.
See attached pic.
Oops should of closed bonnet first and still waiting for headlamp fairings to come back from edge wrapping.
