Default Arghhhhhhh wires, wires everywhere!!

Yes the time has come for me to start the horrid task of the wiring loom.

First of all i started with a complete 827 loom, from ebay so to make life more fun i had to guess/work out what each connector was for.

Next i spread it out to the rough shape of the car, to help work out where everything went.

Decided to remove all the tape/trunking to help get a better idea of whats going on

Now this is just sillyness

Time to get the cutters out

I feel you pain we did a bit of that 2 weeks ago!! Took the engine loom to bits too as some bits we're re-routing, found this stuff for heat insulating the wires. https://secure.visav.co.uk/avshop/pr...&showitem=1796 Still need to order some but looks like good stuff.

I remember doing exactly that with a Cortina loom. Strangely I actually enjoyed doing the electrics.....does that make me weird
