Mike
Great News regards the order.
My Car is in bits still so no rush for del/collection but will pay as soon as you need.
On the spacer front I would like to opt for stainless as per the current list.
Question regards the master cylinder studs, I have what I think is a ford cylinder with the marlin remote reservoir setup, because of this the precise alignment / rotation of the cylinder is not too important (as it is with the reservoir mounted on the cylinder itself).
Are you having some spacers built with the master cyl studs in place or is this not feasable.
Drilling is not a problem for me but I don't have facility to weld stainless. I wondered if the holes were pre drilled, tapped and countersunk, would it be possibe to use counter sunk stainless set screws for the master cyl mount.

Well done!
I hope Santa fitted that V8 for this years delivery as he'll need it with all that extra weight.
I'm in no hurry since I have plenty to do getting my engine upgrade finished

I have placed the main order for the servos, as per Jason's updated list: I hope for delivery by early next week - assuming no Customs strikes/delays.
(Sorton - I have kept you the option of Zinc or Powder coated, as Andrew Curtis does not mind either).
Out of interest - who still has their car on the road over winter, and therefore would like one of the first despatches?
Prices
Still looks like we should hold on to the advised costs - the servos may be a little cheaper on freight, but the adaptors will be a little more as they require the holes to be counter sunk to seat over the slightly proud MBM stud arrangement - it'll all be clear when you get your kit. Still hoping it'll be by Christmas!

Hi John
I will get a stainless one made for you, as requested.
I was intending to have all the adaptors etch marked with a 70mm circle, as this is the most common MC stud centre dimension. This will make it relatively easy to place the MC on the adaptor, and mark the fixing centres for drilling.
As you suggest, I had assumed anyone could then counter sink from the rear and fit and tighten counter sunk head screws, before fitting the adaptor to the servo.
If you prefer studs welded in to the adaptor, I can arrange this at a reasonable cost. You will have to let me know what angle of rotation you prefer from vertical, and the stud centres.
I intend to get my own made this way to suit my own Ford MC which has the Sierra reservoir mounted on top, so for me rotation is critical. This would probably work fine for a remote set up?
My MC requires the holes to be -70/+110 degrees (left/right) from vertical, and at 70mm centres (same as Metro servo centres) with M8 studs. This places my MC vertical relative to the servo studs which are vertical when installed on the Marlin pedal box.

I'll take a look at my setup, take some measurements and get back to you.

Mike
I decided to stick with my original order of zinc and this is still my preference so I did not say any more. However, if it helps I would also be perfectly happy with powder coated.
As my build is still at stage one I am also happy to be low on the postage priority list.
Thanks, Sorton

Excellent, thanks Sorton.
Everyone has got their first preference on the order
Now we just need MBM/Courier/Customs to do their bit...

If those are the two holes for the servo itself why do those need to be countersunk? I thought it was just the holes which will be drilled by us to match our master cylinders that needed the c'sink for the securing screws. Am I missing something? Peter.

I think that it is just to clear the slightly raised area caused by the fixing of the studs to the servo. Just so the adapter plate lies flat against the face of the servo.

Correct!
The studs are fixed by what look like giant rivnut bases, which have a slightly raised base (< 1mm). The problem then is this base is 15mm diameter. I found the adaptor plate rocked on these, so have asked for a very shallow countersink to clear 16mm at the base, but remain 11mm at the nut face
You are getting a properly enginneered product !

Aha! Yes I now realise that's why, having pondered my question for a bit longer. Many thanks. Peter.

Servo preferences
Guys
Can I ask all of you to have a look at the preferences recorded on the sticky list for Servos.
I am aware of at least one that is not showing correctly (down to me! - Mashtun is showing as a powder coated, but is due a Chrome unit).
I just want to make sure we do not have any others that are incorrect.
