Seats and Mounts

Hi all,

Has anyone fitted aftermarket seats to their 5EXi?
I'm looking for the slightly cheaper option than the Marlin supplied items...

Marlin can supply seat runners...are these adjustable runners?
Are the seat fixings to the floor "special" to the 5EXi?

Hi Mate,

Yes I have the Marlin seats and runners and riders too.

The good news is that the all fit together perfectly, the seat is 2 positional for height and multi positional for length from pedals, so there is loads of scope.

One small problem is the bolting into the car, looks like you have to fit the seatbelts, internal pockets and then build the seats up in the car.

Never mind it's all great fun.

I'm using after market seats, similar to Cobra Clubman.

Was going to butcher the original runners from the donor and fit those.

I know places like MWS sell runners for around £20 a throw.
