Default dashboard finish

how you all doing your dash, i've just been talking to a friend who runs a citroen picasso (the simililarity been a large dash area), he says with a shiny surface the sunlight bounces off the dash and causes glare, it must be quite bad because theres a company providing some material cover for the dash to eliminate the problem.

I was wondering about that same problem myself - hence keep postponing the dash altogether...

I was actually hoping that there might be someone out there somewhere that is able to put some sort of leather/bison leather kind of finish on top? That way it would look good and not shine on the screen so much...

Any ideas?

Dylan

I also would like to cover the dash top. I was thinking of getting it flocked which would give it a suede finish. but i having trouble finding companies that do it.

I think you can buy it from Car Builder Solutions.

Check advert in Kit Car. I think there is also another company advertises it in there.

Hi Guys

You are all dojng a great job and we are very pleased and proud with your progess. Re dash...I wanted to flook too but after looking into it the dash will not be easy to cover with the shape it is so if any of you have a go let me know how you get on.

Instuments ... Our next 1800 demo (being built for NEC Motor Show will have the instument faces painted the same colour as the car should be interesting.

All the best
