Question Pedal Box

Hi All,
I had trhe pedals modified by Marlin but now they're on the car the brake pedal still seems very close to the steering U/J - only about 5mm clearance. Is this normal? Also there appears to be no way of attaching the clutcth return spring back to the pedal as there is no longer a bracket on the pedal do I assume you do not need the spring or am i missing something.

Regards
Mike R

Hi Mike.

All is with your pedals. They do come close to the the steering UJ. And the clutch spring is not used anymore. I had exactly the same queries when mine was done.

Hi Mike.

You will get used to doing the dancing jig, 1 step forward 2 steps back.

But will all of a sudden get going again.

No build is not finished yet. Going to Marlin for body and door fitment next weekend.

Default Perdal Box

Mike

If you have 5 mm clearance you have done well, after having the pedal box mod done I spent some considerable time having to bend it around to clear.

In the matter of the clutch it uses the fulcrum arm pressure to keep it in situ.
