Haha he's a funny guy!! Looking for an offer of £2750.....does he not realise that a complete car can go for less?
I don't think what he is selling is worth anymore than £400
His photo's really are inspiring though!

It begs the question: what percentage of kits sold (Marlin or other) ever make it to completion?

The price is starting to jump a bit with a fair few bidders. Only a few days into the auction as well.

It obviously turned out to be more work than he first thought and Marlin seem not too interested in supporting people who buy unfinished kits.

Yeah it does look a neat job, trying to work out what the red box between the dash and front bulkhead is, almost looks like a data logger.
Shame Tony didnt decide to go ahead, hope it wasnt the dvd of photos of my build that I sent him that put him off !!!

Hi Everyone,
I now own Tonys bag of bits.
Trying to put everything in a list so i know what i have!
All looks good though. All arms and small steel components have been shot blasted and painted already.
Have 1.8t engine/gearbox/ecu/loom ready. Once i have made my engine mounts, i will take the chassis for blasting and coating.
Any help greatly appreciated and if anyone lives near Gloucester, they are more than welcome to come and laugh at my pile of bits.
