Default Looking for my donor, 98" wheelbase is hard to find!

I've been hunting all around for information and every list I find doesn't include anything from recent years. I'm starting a project and I'm looking for a donor that has near a 98" wheelbase and can put out 400hp without dumping a fortune into a whole new drive train.

I thought about a C4 Corvette with it's 96" wheelbase, but most of them are tired and slower than Toyota Prius unless you invest 20k in the drive train.

I suppose I could shorten a car by literally chopping it in half and removing a few inches, but that's a pain. I suppose I could move the rear wheel opening back on my shell, but then it may change the way it looks completely.

Up for any ideas! Thanks

I won't say what it's modeled after because of trademarks and what not, but think James Bond meets Mad Max.

the lotus elite 501 is approximately 98in wheelbase. Don't know if it will take 400hp though! You can still buy them relatively cheaply and no SVA

yea that little fella would have a hard time making that power. Also, forget to specify, looking for front engine, RWD. I could probably make a mid engine work, but it would look all messed up.

It is front engine, but it's a little 2 liter.

Think I'm gonna go with a 1990-1996 300zx twin turbo. 97" wheelbase, close enough.
