Default Boot floor spot weld failure

Good morning!

Have any of you guys suffered from the spot welds on the boot floor failing around where the differential mounting point is?

I have recently found a number of spot welds in that area that have broken in my car! Apparently it is common on z3m cars but I just wondered if anyone on here has had a similar issue? Also if anyone has found a fix for something like this?

I was interested in a 250 SWB kit at one time and when looking into possible problems with the donor Z3 came across this issue.

There are some links in this post as to how to repair it but it looks like it involves removing the differential so it won't be a quick fix! https://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41478
