Default kit car insurance

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best Kit car insurers?

Hi,

I went with A Plan for mine. I have insured a straight Z3 with them and they knew what a kit was so I can change the insurance once the modifications are finished.

I think the year was 250 limited to 3000 miles. I was happy with that considering my 6 points

Dave

I went with 'A' Plan too. I paid just under 100 per year for my Spyder (2 litre straight six) and as Dave P says, they actually understand the kit/special owner's needs.

What's that about points influencing the price though? Is it some sort of discount scheme? Am I missing out by not having any? Why haven't I got any points?

I've just reinsured with Flux as they came out cheaper than Aplan.
189 for 3K miles, value 25k but not an agreed value, they want another 65 to do an agreed value so I have been printing the prices of Tributes that appear on eBay.

LOL. If you're that bothered you can borrow mine ?

That said I'm down to three again very soon.
