Thanks Towed, it’s as good as finished and I have had a short run on the road. (private of course) Will upload a vid if I can figure it out. It’s only the registration that snookered me otherwise it would be a keeper...

Pops - Glad to hear you were at least able to drive it a short distance.
Hope all goes well with the sale and I look forward to seeing a video or some photos if you get the chance.
Good luck, Paul.

Yes, stick on black and silver or black and white 'plates' are perfectly legal on tax-exempt cars.

Good decision to finish it and enjoy it. Probably the sale price will more than compensate for the cost and effort to make it an on the road car.

The grill is from a Chrysler 300c, cut down and sprayed satin black except for leading edge which stayed chrome effect. Sides blanked off with aluminium sheet

For Sale
I managed to get car rolling and have enjoyed a few outings this summer.
The attention its gains and the positive comments have indeed made the whole process worthwhile.
However we are now going to have to part ways as I have just too many projects on the go. The toughest part is deciding the value.
So if anyone on my side of the pond is interested please get in touch.. Pops

It’s listed on E bay a year later than planned, guess I just wasn’t ready to let it go.
