Default Engine changes Duratec - Zetec

Hi Guys,
Quick question, I have a just bought my first Westfield SEiW sadly it's fitted with a 2.0 DOHC engine. Inlet hangs out the top and the sump is dragging it's knuckles on the floor!!! So I'm looking to change it over soon for an all alloy 1.6 Duratec engine, does anyone know if this will mate to a type 9 gearbox? Or am I better of looking around for a 1.6-1.8 Zetec as these are quite common now to get hold of.
Cheers Neil.

The Burton Power website has lots of information about all things Ford. The Duratec engine has a different bolt pattern to most other Ford engines but bellhousings are available to mount it to a type 9.
