hi rattler
the best place to fit a temp sender is around the cylinder head where the top hose returns back to the radiator, usually near the thermostat either in the head or thermostat housing. electric fans have there switches usually in the top hose so it can sense when the engine is hottest and requires additional cooling hope this helps

Glad to see you can get back into the forum.

Sorry I didn't test it again earlier, but I was outside working on my own car.

I've actually a length of similar cable tidying tube in black and it is good to see it in use.

Although I'm still a long way off worrying about the wiring.

Good luck, Paul.

Hi Dave, out of interest how do you go about registering the car in France? Do you need to B/IVA or vehicle inspection similar to the UK?
