Bags of sand inside to lower it?

Opaque windows will hide them

Any update on this one Tribute?

Will it make it to Donington?

Will it be in one colour?

Will I be able to see past the crowds of people clamouring round the Tribute stand?

< 48hrs to go...

I don't know about you, but I always imagine there is a HUGE one of these in the Tibute workshop...

... loudly ticking down to the next show, just for that added level of stress.

Jokes aside, fingers crossed for this one.

Good luck, Paul.

As Geoff said, we will be there and after a few more hours filling and sanding tomorrow morning, the car will be in one colour after lunch ready for the drive to Donington. See you there.

Back from a short test drive. All OK, apart from the guy who nearly had a head on crash caused by looking at the swb!

A massive thanks is due to Dan, as always, for his constant help and support

Wow, forget my comments on the door glass/roof line, it was just the angle that the picture I was looking at was taken. Will drop by to see it for myself tomorrow.

Love the authentic grille - fabricated or bought in?

Well done, that's quite a transformation from the Z3.

Just WOW !!!

No secret- I can't get on with the idea of taking a convertible and putting a permanent roof on it - but that is something else.
Looking forward to seeing it at the show.

I will be even more impressed if you complete the red one parked next to it in time for Donington...

absolutely.

With that in mind, please take this as constructive criticism, but the top of the door frame really jars. There is a weird phenomenon where straight lines look hollow, and this is a good example - it almost looks that the top of the frame is sagging in the middle. It really needs a gentle curve top or the pronounced 'break' that some of the SWBs have. That will make a word of difference to the look.
With such a curved profile the straight line clashes and it's makign the window look too long & narrow.

A simple fix in Tribute's hands though!

Great job.

Al
