Sorry to disappoint you, but, je suis Rosbif, and, if it swims in the sea, walks the Earth or flies in the sky it's fair game to be eaten as far as I'm concerned. Even green amphibians.

And if you've ever heard the English expression "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse" well, just recently, if you like ready meals...

Ok for 10 more, but the stock steel must be reconstituted

Ha ha, excellent, Chris must love you! Its no suprise to see more ordered and If I knew of a donor that could be used that would avoid IVA, I think that I would be ordering one for myself. I know that I could build an A352 but I'm just not too keen on use of a Spitfire as a donor, I think that I would soon be wanting a bit more power.

GazDavies - I am going to be getting one based on a BMW Z3 sometime soon. I think a 2.8 straight six should give you a bit more power as requested and also be IVA exempt.

Might be worth talking with Chris and see if we can share the development costs...

WCA, I would love one based on a Z3 however I dont see how it could be done and avoid IVA unless the windscreen was kept which wouldnt really work for me unfortunatly.

My plan was to keep the BMW middle including the screen, unbolt the body work and stick the new body on. This is my replacement for the G46 I was building but have been forced to sell through injury. I want the screen as I am paranoid about bird strike

With your luck I'm not suprised, first drive out you would probably get decapitated by a rougue sparrow. I will have to see how your car turns out but I just cant imagine a D-type looking "right" with windscreen, would love to be proved wrong though!

My plan is actually more complex. I don't want a replica but rather a car inspired by the era. The G46 was a pretty good example of what I wanted which is why I bought one.

My current plan is the front of an A352 with the back of the Mistral.

I need to see them both together and talk with Chris to see if this will work. I seem to be in a minority of one in not liking the back end of the d-type but that doesn't mean Im wrong.

When I shift the G46 we can see how this progresses but I might pop down to Poole for a coffee and a chat next athursday.
