Well last week I decided to take the Ducati and head south, two days later I arrived at Santander from where I kept heading south. Just found myselfe a house in Competa Andalucia with the best road ever to reach it, video to follow.
Next step finish the Sammio or even give up and let someone else finish it ( mr miglia are you watching) then drive it down here, if an ageing duke can make it then so can Sammio, and what a place for it , can't wait

Have you considered changing banks to one with a branch a bit closer to home?

Jokes aside, hope this is the start of good things for you.

Take care, Paul.

Last post nearly two years ago, after a long absence in which time I haven't seen my Sammio I am finally on my way back to Blighty to pick up my car and trailer it to France where I hope to finally finish it, has been a long process finding a place to call home but now I'm sorted, just hope it's still where I left it

,

It was 24 hrs drive but made it with load intact, car attracted a lot of attention at services along the road, a small crowd and photoshoot near Le Mans, a bit embarrassing considering the state of it, now to start some progress again....

Something that's always bothered me since I bonded the body has been the wheel alignment, too far back and too low on the near side,

So drastic action taken taken, recut and reposition the wheel arches,

Cardboard former! Wait and see how it's taken ... Been so long since I've worked " the Sammio way" it's good to be back

The standard wheels look quite streamlined, nice to see you back.

This guy might be able to help with French registration. His name is Jean-Paul jp.francois37@orange.fr

Wow time passes so quick since I posted any updates, still plugging away. Finally gave up on the slammed look when I altered the exhausts, have managed to cut the final one into two prong back by 10 cm and pull the tail pipes in the same making them a lot more acceptable protruding at the back, however when I pulled out of the garage I caught the rear apron on the floor ripping it up the rear seams, this was the final straw so lowering block out, with the swing Spring fitted it's still relatively low but not impracticable as before, repairs are complete, now just sanding and sanding. Got a scare reading the dangers of two pack so may take the outdoor spray route and sacrifice a little on the finish, better to be alive and see it....

In keeping with the Sammio ethos I've managed to up cycle the herald inner glass lenses into indicators for the spyder,
