Fitted hinges to the bonnet.
Also fitted the bonnet side panels.
.
Both side panels need some sort of lip to cover the bottom edge but for now good enough for the MOT tester.

Mike – Do you have a final colour in mind for this pick up?

I have 2 colours in mind.
Grey with black trim.
Rust with black trim.
I'll decide when it's complete

I'v been looking for a pair of Morris Minor door tops to convert to fit the doors giving me an opening window.
But having been unsuccessful I purchased some thin steel channel and made a pair.
I also added an in-fill to the door top surrounds
I re-enforced the door bottom which not only helped stop the fiberglass door flexing but also gave me some where to fit the window winder and door latch.
On the mechanical side we have now got it running better and freed off the clutch so the truck will now move under it's own power!
No more pushing about

The front of the truck was always to high.
So we replaced the front coil-over shocks with some smaller ones we had left over from the front of the "D" type.
This shows the difference, left has the new smaller coil-over shock fitted.
Again.
I think it's down about 50mm, just hope the front will clear the local speed humps!!!!

I'v been trying to sort out a safe way to fit the visor.
I finally settled on some exhaust bobbins which allow the air flow to pass under the visor .
I'll tidy the fitting up later.

We wanted to get the truck all one colour to see what it looks like so we used primer.
Still loads of work to do on the rest of the bodywork but the single colour shows the potential.

Mike – Getting the truck in one colour does make a big difference.
Also, good to see you are already making use of the pickup bed.
Good luck, Paul.
