Default Danny's Build Thread 3 - Kobra mk 2

So.......!

As some of you may be aware when I was contemplating building a Kobra, I toyed around with the idea of making the panels fit a Z4 and taking the modern approach to it. After looking about on ebay I came across an 'on the road' kobra that Chris from tribute was selling. After agreeing a price I flew down to tribute and collected it and had modifications to make it look more modern.

Ever since the car has been finished I really do love it but I keep thinking that I should of in fact stuck to my original Idea!

I spoke to Chris about it a few month ago and he likes the idea of getting into the Z4 as a donor and likes the whole concept of a modern kobra. The idea was for me to buy a set of Z3 panels from him and drop a Z4 off for him to make the panels fit.

After seing these on ebay, I spoke to Chris and bought them...

Hopefully get them collected and delivered back to Chris (where they came from!) next week.

I have a Z4 donor in mind and I'm just in talks with the owner about the final price and the possibility of him delivering it to tribute.

Watch this space.....
