Default Sharp Edges to bodywork

Trev,

This issue concerns the edges of bodywork as removed from the mould, and not edges created by cutting holes for mesh etc...

The SVA examiner concluded that as the edges were "by design" and "as from the mould" so he deemed them OK.

Once again this topic was discussed with colleagues and passed.

This clearly demonstrates that this is open to the SVA examiner's opinion.

Default Body Panels and Rounding Edges

Great idea John,

Right the areas identified were as follows:-

Rear clam shell,

both sides of the channels leading to the semi curved vents including the vents themselves.

The whole lower rear end and the recess for numberplates.

Side panels,

side vents and top edge adoining the inner panel where the two are not a perfect match.

Both ends of screen surround.

Front panel,

Limited to the panel which you insert, he found the far edge to be 'sharp' and although he did not note it he stated that the edge of the clam which adjoins the screen should also be attended to.

Finally he noted that the catches were an excellent idea, but all the recessess needed to be rounded.

I did say that I thought they were well tucked away and minimal in size, however he did not agree with this.
