Post Quantum Saloon for sale

Hi guys,

I bought my saloon a few years back now and it had been left standing for around 8 years. I had the intention of getting it running again and using it as my first car, but as usual low funding did not allow me to fulfil my plans After spending some money on the car and hearing the engine burst into life I had to leave for uni and never got round to finishing the job and actually driving it. I have now been presented with the opportunity to work for Nissan for a year as a placement student, and so have to sell my saloon

The car has a white gel coat with no major spider cracking and the shell is in good condition. There is a small repair made below the tailgate and a couple of scuffs and rubs, but these have slowly been coming off over time as the car is washed so I think they would polish out nicely. It has a 1.6 Escort xr3i engine (only has around 58000 on the clock) which ran well until I left it while I was at uni, and now it won't start. There is still a good spark from the plugs, but very little fuel is coming through the line and the pump is not making noise so I think it's just a dead pump which is a relatively easy fix. There are a few little niggles to be sorted out before it would pass an MOT, such as the window wipers which do not move properly and new tyres will be needed. New brakes are provided, the rears have been fitted but may need adjustment as they are binding slightly and the fronts have not been fitted. There is a rip in the drivers seat, but nothing you wouldn't expect from an old car. The rear passenger side window also needs re-bonding.

Loads of original paperwork and parts receipts come with the car, and also has appropriate Q660 NTM "Quantum" registration :P

I'm looking for around £850 for the car, but close offers will be considered.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
