Default internet forums

I log into a couple of forums (this and the Stratossupersite) at lunchtime and it makes a cosy sort of community. Then I visit Cakewalk and its full of professional musicians talking way over my head, Absynth users (admittedly on Yahoo) all complaining that the software crashes (so repetitive), and then sites like Girls Suck and, oh my god, you did wot?? oo, I like your picture, will u go out with me, and then today the Sulpher site - I must be getting real old, but these teenagers haven't got a brain between them. I want to go onto a forum and converse with people with brains bigger than amoebi (or is that amoebae?) and feel like I've contributed. Probably just that mid-life crisis thing.

Anyway, sorry to intrude.

Hello, anyone there?

PH can be a bit heavy and a bit bitchy. All in the nicest way of course.

It is very popular too. Most on here read / post on it.

I must admit to preferring MadAbout.

I also like the fact that you can't swear on here, see fuck, tits, bollocks. (not meant to offend John)

Glad you all like the site/forum.

Conversation of the grown up variety is most welcome but we all tend to slide into a bit of juvenile behaviour now and again which is forgiveable.

Perhaps I should start a sweary thread to see which fucking swear words get through

Now that would just be juvenile

John

I agree, mosr forums with teenagers are well worth avoiding. I avoid them anyway as I can't understand a word of it, all the posts are written in txt. I constantly get ribbed for the length of my text messages, as I use proper punctuation and, horror of horrors, complete words! But I'm sticking to my guns, and the spotty little oiks can bgr rite off

Regards,
Justin

ee by gum, when I were a lad. . .

Must admit, not looking forward to my little'uns becoming teenagers. I'm grey and stressed already. I need the soothing persuit (?) of a kitcar. Pity it's still in a different country.

yesterday I stormed out of the Stratossupersite forum - those guys are soooo an*l, authenticity above all else . Them with their GRP tubs , Alfa V6s which is what the Stratos would use if it were still made today!! Pah, I spit on their replica 15 inch wheels that they cant get tyres for.

Etc etc

I know where I'm not wanted

Expect more drivel here from me, I'll try not to be so petty

Good for you vojx.

If it drives well, looks good and you like it then tell them where to stick their views.
