Default Front wing inners

have people fitted these?

To the bonnet, to the inner wing?

I was wondering because when I started to plan my templates for the wood re-enforcing, based on a subtle modification to Gary's original, I spotted a potential problem.

I don't want to break down and find my whisky bottle has been shattered too.

An inner lining might also protect the electrics above and the headlights right in front of the wheel.

Anyone had thoughts about this?

From the Daily Mail of all places - the only under bonnet shot I can find of a Jag bonnet (e-type)
