Default Exhaust Problem

Hi everyone. I am having a problem with my exhaust and was wondering if any one else was experencing the same thing.
I have got the exhaust system supplied by marlin and when the manifold piece and cat bypass are in plase they seem to lie about an inch to the right of the back box. Therefore I cant connect them to the back box. I have spoken to rover and they said to me that the same manifold was used up intill the 25 came out so i am at a bit of a loss. Marlin said to me that that have not hered of any other problems.

The second thing is what has everyone else done on the whole cat problem. Has everyone bought a cat from marlin? I was wondering if anyone had modifyed an existing/second hand cat, my budget is a little streached and I cant afford the marlin one at the moment.

Best Regards
BennyH

Default exhaust

I have turbo model on the road and did not find any problems with exhaust alignment, is it possible your pipe from marlin has been made wrong or been damaged somehow, it wouldn't take much to kick it out an inch or so.

Ok Benny,

Tell us which holes/slots you have mounted your engine onto?
Which hole on the near side, and off side?
I.e. is the engine aligned correctly?
Which engine have you installed?

Even so I agree with Brian, it may be time to modify a few things...

As for the CAT, I bought it from Marlin, as I knew it would bolt straight in.

HTH,

John
