Default Sammio motor company bonnet badge

After much thought we have come up with a simple bonnet badge for the SAMMIO range.
First is the solid badge, it's 80mm in diameter, made from 5mm alloy.

The second is the same badge but "cut-out", 90mm in diameter, made from 3mm alloy.

Having seen and compared both badges I am not sure which one I prefer so I'll fit both, one front, one rear

Not cheap at £23 each but I'll post them free-of-charge to a UK main postal address. Or you can call in and collect one in which case the price will be £20+ a packet of nice biscuits and a cuppa will be included

I have to get these made in batches of 10 at a time so there might be some delay on delivery.

Any thoughts

With cutouts, it will allow colour to show through. can you chamfer the outside edge?

The solid one looks at lot like a 70's ash tray? Would look good polished and then the inside painted, would be easier to attach using adhesive than the cut out one trying to clean up adhesive edge trickle would be hard, I wonder if you can get the foam double sided tape wide enough ? Stick it on trim around the alloy then stick on the car. Ed
Big domed head brass rivets would set them both off nicely.

I think the solid badge will look better with painted recess, easier to mount and clean in the future, as mentioned by garyh a chamfer edge would finish it off, it would be a simple tool change before running the tool around the outer profile for the guys in the machine shop.

Do you intend having them anodized?

All in all they both look professional micky1mo.

I totally agree with swifty's comments.
Do you have a sammio colour in mind or is it silver?
