Default 5EXI Is Home

Well after a year of dithering, money wasting and pestering Terry and Mark (Sorry ) the silver demo car is now sat in my new garage..... I'm chuffed to bits and can't wait to take it out for a good blast
Bring on the track days is what I say.

glad your build is going well. Wish I'd had the time to build one, but this is the second best option to building it myself.
Just need to change the seats as my lardy arse won't fit properly in the narrow marlin seats...

...can't help you on the seats...need the wide ones myself

...does your silver car have harnesses or seat belts....I'm looking for a set of regular seat belts and if your putting in harnesses would you sell them on?

Thanks

Rich

Hi Dan.

I had the same problem with the seating. At a time I was not expecting, these came up at Macro's

I sat in them to make sure they were comfortable in store!! The only problem is, not sure if they need dropped or how I'm going to fit them. But they are huggy and comfortable which was what I was looking for.

But the price was to good to miss so I bought them. They also did them in Blue/Black.

Think I'm going to order a set of the wide seats from Marlin, in which case if theres any slim people out there that want to buy the narrow seats (no harness holes) let me know. I still have the harness bar and harness's but can't decide wether to fit them or not. I'm going to do lots of track days so might do. I'll let you know what I decide..

Default Slim seats

Hi Dan, I'm a new boy, How much would you want for the seats?
Are they the Marlin type with cut outs?
Cheers
Paul

Default Seats

Hi

they are the marlin seats yes. They are rather expensive at £646 for two seats. but they are carbon/kevlar and weigh about as much as a bag of sugar..

I'm looking for £450 for the pair as I'll then need to re-order some more of the wide versions at £646, and as there in as new condition I'm not prepared to lose too much money..

Let me know if your interested.
