hi all not much progress been on holiday sart again tomorrow can any one tell me where to get longer bolts for the back spring iv'e lowered it 30 mm now the bolts are short tried in france no luck. also can you get p700 lights that dip to the left or flat dip .will be in the u/k for the Exeter k/c show big shoping list dave r

are you on about the studs that go in the top of the diff? is so both Canleys and Rimmer Bros do them

hi all good week chassis all done just waiting for longer diff bolts . brakes all done .arb done .s rack done .next week gear box off check clutch /and bearings may be frame on the weekend .//// has anyone got a 4 in to 1 ex/manifold to fit a 1200 motor and can I fit twin carbs on it .will post pic next week.dave r

hi all bad news turbo blown up on my x5 today big hole in wallet///// good news frame on tomorrow maybe floor pans also. then fuel tank .maybe body next week . dave r

hi all everything going good now have a rolling chassis .frame on floors in just waiting for motor bits to arrive /no next day in france/ tried body today rear ok front may be abit high at the moment 60 m/m from tyer to wheel arch see what its like with the motor in .I am in uk next week going to Exeter /k/c/s/ big shopping list . may be will meet sumone all the best dave r

hi i think i will have the same problem,as i want to use 15inch wheels.
can i ask you does it effect the position of the body if you moved the front bulkhead back by 20mm?do you have to move the body back the same?
i think this seems the best solution?

I moved my bulkhead back 20mm by redrilling the chassis bolt holes. I had to extend the holes in the frame to align with the old door mounting nuts but everything else just fitted up as normal. Hope that helps.

hi all just fitted the body front wheel arch gap 50mm which I think is ok.the rear is 30 mm may be to close .may be someone can measure their car for me .or give me some advice . thank you dave r

Looking good Dave.
A minor mod I did on the frame was to add in a couple of spacers on the front body mounts to help miss the bonnet lip. I also put in some support at the front - primarily as I am going to mount my gauges in a centre console so I wanted some more room so they don't hit the frame....

hi t done the very same but bolted a piece of ply the length of rail and will f/g bond it to body all good fun dave r
