AS WE ALL KNOW , LITERALLY THE LAST FEW MINUTES CAN CHANGE THE GAME ON EBAY ...

I think the car is worth far more than that ......

It's clearly worth a lot more than that, but I still don't believe an ebay auction is the way to achieve a decent price, just a quick sale if you're prepared to give it away for peanuts.

In case you haven't seen it, there's also a very nice looking Tribute 250 soft-top on ebay which hasn't reached anywhere near its value yet either -

It does look like people bidding on ebay are all looking for bargains and don't want to pay more than what the parts alone cost the builder.

Having said that, I'd like to see a flurry of last-second bids take it up to a more acceptable figure for both you and the 250 seller.
It hit 9.7k reserve not met

The SS1 based Cordite made six grand ....I think thats a bit low nowadays , but wonder if the later donor may have had a bearing on it ? who knows ...

Here's another one to watch .....

Six grand was a steal for whoever won that auction.

It was sad to see the grey 250 also only getting bid to £9.7k, but I still maintain that ebay auctions are not the place to sell these special interest vehicles. Beat up Vauxhall Corsas with a month's MOT, yes. Specialist sports cars, no.

The green Sammio has quite a number of unresolved issues so also probably won't make much on ebay. Shame really as none of its issues are too difficult to fix.

The SLR -esque wheel arch treatment is a little controversial as well ....but if the right person bought it , dealt with its fairly straightforward issues ..it could potentially be a decent car ...
