Countach is on a distinguished road
Default Lamborghini Countach need identification.

Hi everyone, I’m new on this forum and I need some information.
Recently I bought Lamborghini Countach Kit car, based on VW Beetle chassis.
Can some one help me to identify this kit? Seller mentioned that it could be Countess Lamborghini Countach Kit Car, produced by King Fisher Mouldings but he wasn’t sure.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Have you bought it yet?

If not and you want a fairly accurate countach, walk away from this.

The Haynes big "A-Z of Kit Cars" has a pic of the Kingfisher Countess and yup, that is what you've got here!

It's not the worst Countach kit ever made, but If you put it next to mine, or a Mirage or Sienna then you'd notice that it'd need a lot of tweaking to get the body right.

If you can get it for a steal and you've got the space, patience, time, skill and tools then I've no doubt that you could make it look good.
Especially as there is rumor that long ago in the mists of time it was used as the starting point for the MasterCo! At least that's what Haynes think

But if you're not that good with fiberglass then i'd agree with the others, run... run while you still can, and don't look back!!

Cool! and best of luck to you!

I look forward to seeing photos of how you progress as i'm sure it'll be an interesting journey

If you're in the mood for buying books, and given what you've got ahead of you, could i recommend a book that i've relied heavily on over the years.

If you've not already got it, it's:

Lamborghini Countach: The Complete Story - by Peter Dron
