Default Heater Control Cables

I've just spoken to Rover. They can't sell me the cables as a separate item! So, does anyone have a source for these?

In the meantime I'll try my local scrapyard.

I need the two longest of the set...

hi

what i did for my last car was i used the plastic covered wire that is used for hanging net curtains for the outer and for the inner most radio controled modle aircraft shops sell the wire in metre lengths so you can make them up your self. Also sierra bonnet release cable is very good for the outer cable.

all the best

I have the same problem. Only had the green ones. But I think it's the yellow one which is longer. When I emailed Marlin about where to get them from, they said you can get them from them.

Hope that helps.

Default Another solution

Hi everyone.

We solved this one by using the outer from an old accelerator cable and a wire inner from a model shop.

Best thing is you can make em as long as you like and it works so well

Regards to all builders.
