I like the look of these,

but for £3,000 per pair I think I could get the Upholsterer Laureate to make something similar with unicorn hide covers and dodo-feather stuffing. |

They look nice but the seat squab looks a bit too high. Perhaps you could pay extra for a thinner seat cushion?

I'm losing it!
Ok, here's hoping someone may have bookmarked the web page I've been searching for after seeing it a while back. Some vendor in UK sells reasonably priced Aluminium 'Bomber' style bucket seats and I'll be darned if i can find them again. Any help would be really appreciated.  |

Don't recall seeing any reasonably priced new bomber style seats. I think the last ones I saw were about £900 each.
You could always fabricate some yourself, after all, how hard can it be? Remember hacking and bashing at Halton? Chalk on your file and fabricating pointless aluminium panels with 'D' plug holes to one thou tolerance, I knew it would come in handy one day...

I have to agree. Ideally, whatever seats you choose to fit, your shoulder needs to be only slightly above the edge of the cockpit so you're just looking over the top of the flyscreen (as modelled by my better half), otherwise your noggin will spoil the aerodynamics and the wind blast will deafen you.
