How about ?
The Mickio Effingo
Effingo is latin for copy and its probibly what Andy Ribble would say if you turned up at his workshop now ! Only joking Geez. I have to credit Gary J with that joke as he said it this morning.
Or Adducti that's latin for influence based on the car being influencd by 1950s race cars etc another one of garys ideas.

Like the "thought full" new names so keep um coming I might like one as my wife does'nt like REBUSS either
Seeing as this body and mould set are well over 20 years old and were about before the Sammio/Ribble bodys where but a "gel coat drip" on the end of Gary's brush, it can't be a copy of anything current.
I certainlly do not want to go down the same troubled road as Ribble and Miglia did.
That said I think it looks closer to the sort of thing Chris at Tribute might make, or should I say one of the "many" things Chris at Tribute might make.
Speeking of 20+years ago does any one reconize or rember this mould or even know of something similar.
All I know is it was origanial designed for the Lotus Elan chassis and running gear

When I spoke to Gary regarding the G-46 he talked of "coke bottle lines", how right he was
Now "Adducti" sound fast and sleek ??????

Hi Mike, PM in your inbox. Think it could be a derivative of the Nickri Spider (as was the Sammio brand) so they appear to be cousins

I was trying to place the similarity, which is why I chose Nothus definition 2.
Think it could be a derivative of the Nickri Spider (as was the Sammio brand) so they appear to be cousins
nothus
1.spurious
2.bastard (but of a known father)
3.false, counterfeit
Mike - If you get a good lawyer you can probably sue mikmiglia and AndyP57 for nicking your design ;-)

I thought this forum was full of "petrol heads" and "dirty men" in overall but it seems I am wrong.
Judging by the last few posts you are well educated, latin speaking philosophers

So…
amo = I love
amas = you (singular) love
amat = he, she or it loves
amamus = we love
amatis = you (plural) love
amant = they love
Google - That's what working in IT does for you!

Yep, congrats your now a speaker of a dying if not dead language (getting ready for the ensuing outrage) That's about as much Latin as I remember from my school days and only because I had to write it literally thousands of times!

Collected the body and moulds today.
Called in on the laminator who confirmed with a little attention he could re-use the moulds so it's looking good
Still need a name for the kit??

Spoke to the laminator and he's not to busy in Dec so he's going to make a start then.
The body's will be much the same price as the Ribble body's but unlike the Ribble body's there is no cage frame, no build pattern, no build history and no forum posting to follow so as the first few builders you would be very much "on your own" This would of course make the first few body's cheaper .
If your new to kit car building I would recommended you buy a Ribble or Miglia first before taking on a new/new build like this one.
I am now looking for a Spitfire donor and will post a build thread as soon as I make a start
Still looking for a name as nobody likes REBUSS. How about, RAZOR, RAVEN, RAPIER??? or even a P-47, as in P-47 Thunderbolt Razorback

How about P38?
As in Isopon rather than Lockheed.
