Default Something Different

My apologies if this has already been posted but if you are looking to make something completely different from one of Chris' kits you could try this beauty, the 250 GT Bread Van.

Maybe something for next year...

Vents were too big anyway!

I think, Scimitar based, it would make a practical four seater. Just like........a Scimitar..!

It was originally built with a Rolls Royce grill on the front if my memory serves me right. He was an auto gearbox specialist and built to promote his business.
I don't know if it was rebuilt as it suffered a fire on the Autobahn.

It must have been rebuilt. I remember hearing that it had been destroyed in a fire back in the eighties but it's parked next to a BMW 'Mini' so it must be a recent picture.

My next door neighbour has bought himself a C63 AMG merc which makes a tidy noise on start-up. Would love to outdo him by starting this thing up!

Just out of interest, how complicated would it be to mod the front end of the MX250 kit to look like this?

The Merlin engined Beast was fitted with a Rolls Royce grill but RR took him to court. He drove the car to court each day which got lots of publicity at the time. Unfortunately it also broke down a few times on the way

How about an MX250 4x4? After all, Porsche did a 911 rally car.

If Tribute are scratching about looking for their next kit idea they could do a lot worse than this:

That Toyota kit looks like what I feared any MX-5 based kit would look like.

An MX-5 with a new plastic nose and tail.

The great thing about the MX-250 is that you actually have to look quite hard to spot the MX5 underneath with only the door being the real five away

The Toyota kit made me think it was an MX5 with Halfords special 'Performance body kit' and the Toyota grill stuck on
