Brilliant news Chris,

I would have loved to buy it myself, but it makes more sense for you guys to do your magic with it and buy a bodyshell later. (Also I have heard that a divorce can be quite expensive?)

This makes me so very happy!

I saw it had ended early and hoped to god you had something to do with it.

Will body moulds in its current format (i.e. not made to fit another car) be available from it?

I'm sure you will make good use of it Chris.

If you ever have any spare time, you might like to read this thread.

An amazing guy in South Africa is making his own Ferrari buck the hard way.

Enjoy, Paul.

PS
Sorry to hear about your latest finger and cutting disc mishap.

But I would like to thank you for saving my own fingers the other day.

I had to remove the safety guard on my grinder while cutting out the last bit of my battery box.

I was just about to switch it on when the thought of your previous finger accident came to mind.

So I stopped & rearranged my hands to make sure all my fingers were out of the way.

Ironically it was getting my finger caught between the safety guard and the cutting disc, somehow. that caused the accident. Healing nicely now

The South African tread is great thanks, he's going a cracking job.

Picked up the SWB buck this morning. The hired truck was a little short due to the huge tool chest bolted to the front of the load area...

First priority is to pull a couple of splash moulds off the front and rear of the buck (after a lot of remedial work) to finish Geoff's Z3 based car. After Stoneleigh we will look at moulding the whole buck, but will confirm availability of shells once this has been done.

Excellent buy! I love the 250 SWB project as having a FHC with Automatic transmission particularly appeals. I look forward to seeing how you get on.

That buck looks like a work of art in its own right. What donor are you hoping to fit the resulting body shells on? Any idea what the wheelbase would be without modification? Looking forward to seeing this project progress.

Rather than start a new thread...

A pair of cream leather covered MX5 seats being sold on an exchange basis for standard MX5 seats.

Hope that helps, Paul.
