Default Tank neck position change?

Hello.

Whilst I have built a kit car (a Beauford) at the moment I'm working on a car with an engine swap. The fuel tank from the donor car (XJR) was kept as it has two fuel pumps inside it which the motor needs. However I'm in the process of fitting out the boot to make it really nice. The fuel neck position is really not helping so my question is; can it be repositioned by blocking off the old one and cutting a new one where I want it?

Thanks

Andrew

Default

Hi again. I have managed to route the filler hose neatly now meaning I don't now need to reposition the neck. Moderator can delete this thread if desired. Thanks. Andrew
