Chin spoiler is the right thing to do Chris. This is never going to be a reproduction , so modern concept style is the way to go.
The chin spoiler adds a bit of body to the higher front section.
lowering is exactly right as well.
Shaping up to be a rather nice little idea.

I think the demo car will be White with blacked out chrome.
Thanks for the positive comments guys, it's coming together and starting to look how I was hoping it would.

That's nice Chris. I like it very much. You have a winner there that should sell well providing the price is right. Spoiler suits it too. What's the chrome screen surround effect, or is it Photoshop?

Not bad, not bad at all.
Think we may need to have a chat when I'm back next month

Looking very good and progressing rapidly.
Is the rear going to have the modern style too (led CobraStyle tail lamps and that rear diffuser that was mentioned earlier in this post) ?

Lokos really good inthe pics - flows very well! Your best conversion yet!
Loving the chin - but you know my thoughts on that: needs to be deeper! deep chins ftw.
modern tail lamps - something like the current Jag XJ might suit (or is that a bit TOO modern?)
can you 'shop some stripes and the front metalwork on it?

Chris - I know I have said this before, but how you go from this...
To this...
In such a short space of time still amazes me.
Good luck finishing this (and everything else you are developing at the moment ).
Cheers, Paul.

Hi Tribute Automaotive,
Looks great and really nice lines and amazing progress as well. I see the fuel cap mirrors the z3's original placement, but is quite deeply recessed within the body - so (just out of curiosity, how feasible would it be to run an extension fuel line from the tank inlet to the top of the boot boot area - it looks like there's space in there...

This Z3 is one of the last ones made, a 3 litre, and has a few "M" extras sprinkled on it. The "chrome" is actually a polished alloy cover that is bonded on. I think WCA has looked at buying some trim the same, but they are £300+.

That would be good Jason. I hope that the DVLA have extracted their thumb from their bum by then.

We will be putting a couple of removeable blocks in the mould so the cap can be as shown in the original position or on the top of the rear wing a la AC. And yes there is enough room to run the pipe over the inner Z3 structure.
