Default 'Ere, you 5Exi lot..........

You gotta wonder why they made that purple and green monstrosity....that Silver one in the magazines looks much, much better!

Bit too minimal for me though, nice to have somewhere for your sunglasses!!

See you at Stoneleigh......

Purple and green are Marlin's race colours.

I think nearly everyone will agree the colours are not the most desirable for a road car, however look at it this way:
Marlin launched the prototype in this colour and it was a huge success. They took another person on to cope with the orders. Since seeing the silver demo car the interest has been even greater, with even more orders. If they had launched the silver car first, would they have been able to cope with the orders?

As for it being minimalistic. It's a kit. If you want it like a '7' with bare chassis inside etc then that is ok. If you want it with all the luxuries of your family car, just add them.

After all there is a good £4k+ spare if you have bugeted for a GTM Libra.

Hold on, is that an insult???

I hope you didn't misread the tone of my post Mark! I love the car and I'm not being critical in any way. I think the original launch colour was wrong though!!! Will you be at Stoneleigh???

I think you realise my post was in jest. You and I know there is very little (if anything) to fault on the Libra.

As for a boot. No problem, I can get a couple of pairs in the car!

My point about the colour may be a little weak, but it was the only argument I could think of.

I do think WK? and the Totalkitcar Almanac both agreed with your point on colour as both made the car look a lot bluer in their respective features.

BTW YHM
