This was one of the bug bearers on the T series. Clutch cables snapped. But different from the K in that you had to have a heavy left foot for the clutch. That's why hydraulic is the only way for the T.

John, I believe Ken is running the pg1 gearbox too (he has a 1.8 vvc at the moment).

ah yes of course.

Would recommend a hydraulic conversion Ken on the PG1. Bit of a pain now the dash and windscreen are in though.

Right... the summary of the day... it was excellent!

Weather was utterly pants (rained all day), but that meant for some reaction testing - aquaplaning all over the shot early in the day.

I've got some videos I took in the morning, which I'll put online later.

The car's handling was simply superb - it was really predictable, and despite deliberately trying to find the limits, I only spun twice! That said I had a few moments where I was on the lock limiters with corrective lock, and just managed to catch it. As I already knew, Toyo road tyres are utter junk in the wet... just as well that after today my rears are 3/4 gone. Phew - soon be rid of them!

Just to second what John has said above. A great day, unfortunately my knackered K-Series found the wet to its disliking and developed a misfire limiting my time on track but at least I didn't spin it!!! Found the 888's good on a wet track but useless in standing water.

Drove 2 other cars, Heaths Blue Marlin 5EXi (ex Dylan) and best mate Daves Onyx and span them both. Rather embarrasing was that I span Heaths car whilst giving him some instruction and got awarded a black flag for not coming in straight away - Ooooppss!!!!!!!!

As for everyone else all I can say is prepare your car over the winter and get out and have some fun next year. Apologies to John for not having a good look at his car due to the appauling weather, definitely next time.

Voila, one video. Sadly I didn't bother recharging the camera from the last outing at Keevil, so today the battery went flat! I could have charged it in the car, but the draw of driving took over!

Next time I will ensure the camera is properly charged, as the afternoon was the most fun and dynamic part of the day.

Ken - I tried to find you when I was leaving, but you appeared to be on track.

Sorry for bringing up this topic.

We were at Woodbridge in October (at least i think it was october )

We were in a BMW 325i Touring. And i've since bought a little Sylva Leader; looking to get back to woodbridge again as it was a brilliant day and a nice little track.

Don't recall seeing a Marlin there though?
