I did them.
Removed them from the door , then rubbed them dull with wet and dry paper, primed then satin black. Job done.

I'm hoping to do the same with my mirrors and door handles. Eventually. But id like to see how it looks in the same colour as my wheels if not then body colour instead to blend.

Guess there is always something to do.
Adapting the seat to give me more head room.

Looking good !

For the second year running I saw you leave from a distance as I arrived. They sounded great too

Fate

Was a better turn out than last year. My fave was a red Ford Capri GT recently restored.

I've got another busy few days planned.
Seven hours to get to this point!
Re skinned my roof frame with a brand new roof. New seats too .
Hence my old ones are up for sale.

Is it your roof that's split or the window?

Well its the roof, it was a nice heated rear window one, but old. A while back, it was sound but discoloured, following what other people have done, I used kiwi boot polish to make it look like new. I'm thinking that was a terrible idea as the vinyl kind of went crispy stiff and dry after a while and I got a couple of little splits in areas that didn't matter.

Anyway after using the hardtop for a while, found it had shrunk and was trying to force it pulling it forward with my hands and upwards with my head! And yea it split where my head was. Gutted
