Rich,

Crack on. Bit cold though!

Could you PM me the details of the hydraulic clutch pls?
Make of cylinder, possibly some more photo's..
Anything to help, as the cable clutch is struggling with the uprated clutch kit.

John...

Think you've got the wrong guy. My clutch (when I connect it) will be the standard K series cable..

John

Have you looked at the Rover 600 setup?

Hydraulic, with remote res and bracket at gearbox end with cable connect to gearbox.

That's probably the best option I've seen (unless you are using a gearbox that had a hydraulic clutch to start with)

I have got a Hydraulic Clutch but it is the (Honda Civic Type R) system as that is the engine i am fitting.
The gear box comes with a Hydraulic Clutch fitted so it was just a case of modding the clutch pedal and mounting the piston.

BigRich you're right I was after BigFella

Thanks for info BigFella, and I also believe the hydraulic clutch is fitted to the blue honda demonstrator??? Anyone confirm that?

The clutch cable on mine feels like it'll snap at any moment, so the hydraulic option needs to happen.

Trev, thanks re: 600 clutch set-up. I'll source this lot out and work out how to do this soon.

Cheers guys

John

Default clutch

I had problems with heavy clutch, I have alleviated it by removing the plastic inner and refitting inner cable into outer metal and packing with grease. I also routed mine around outside of side panel for smoother run.

good luck

Brian
