Oh, sorry WCA, no offence meant.
Hang on though, isn't yours an automatic? Doesn't that give the six pot the same performance (if you can call it that) as the weedy 1.9?

That's the spirit Mr T!
Keep up the pressure!
He'll probably attack you at Stoneleigh!

Speed isn't everything.
When traveling at supersonic speeds in an airplane everything is normal and a bit dull.
The fun comes when the danger increases such as cornering, braking or driving anything that WCA has had a hand in building.
;-)

Funnily enough I've been supersonic in the back of a jet fighter and it was rather normal and a bit dull. That was until we pecked at the edges of the Lebanon's airspace and got lit up by hostile radar. Then it suddenly got a bit more fun (?!!) when the steely eyed killer driving our supersonic aluminium death arrow started cornering, braking and diving at mach 1.2 while loads of alarms were going 'WEEP! WEEP! WEEP!' in my headset like when the Starship Enterprise gets attacked by Clingons.
To quote Winston Churchill "Nothing in life is so exhilarating as to be shot at without result." The experience exhilarated three sick bags full of breakfast and stomach lining out of me, quite a lot of which ended up smeared all over the inside of the canopy and stuck to the visor on my bone-dome
Trouble is, when you're pulling negative 'G' in a dive and you blow chunks at a bag, unless you're holding the sick bag over your head you're going to get a bit of blowback. Think of those boy scouts eating their lunch on a rollercoaster on Jim'll Fix It (dare I mention him?) magnified about a hundred fold and you won't be far away from what happened.
I suppose it didn't help that I had a massive hangover...

Sound much like my drive back from Tribute when I first picked up the car - except for the Lebanese radar and the vomiting

I know what you mean WCA - bizarrely, putting my foot down in my Spyder at 40mph feels like piloting a Viper out of the launch ramp of the Battlestar Galactica, while sitting in the back of a jet fighter five miles up at 800mph felt rather like being in a limo at 60mph on a very smooth motorway.
Looking forward to seeing your Z300 in paint btw.

Hey, it's only a bit of banter, we're not actually going to engage in fisticuffs. And anyway, if we did, I'd put money on my footwork being faster...

WCA - The black paint job looks great.
I look forward to seeing the photos of the car with everything back on it.
I hope you are happy with your final colour choice.
Enjoy turning heads, take care, Paul.

That does look good.
Looking forward to seeing the final assembly. It's a personal thing but I think I'd prefer silver wheels.

Had an enjoyable evening testing the effect of Stella on humans and thought I'd take another look at your car. The new paint makes such a difference - you must be chuffed with it.
It's a terrible shame to have to spoil it with number plates. I'd have a stick on for the back to follow those lovely curves, but the front is more difficult as it looks so good without one. I think a stick on will be best. Shame we can't legally have tiny little buggers like the Italians.
Look forward to seeing it at Stoneleigh.
Off to ebay now to buy something stupid. Perhaps a hot rod, or something with tassels lol.

Dark paint really suits the shape, nice! I echo the comments on the wheels above - shiny silver to contrast with the black paint. Oh, and I'd try some racing roundels to break up the larger panels too. Might just see you at Stoneleigh...

The paint job looks first class, absolutely must have silver wheels to achieve that "class" look.
