Default Smart rebodied Which should it be

Sure most of you have seen the renders for smart car rebodies, but in reality which would you choose,
I'm convinced there's a market if it could be done and as Smart cars are pop on. Panels may even be an opportunity for some fun here in France....
I realise restraints in real life but the ideas a good un (isn't it) - stranger things have happened. Thoughts please gents

Cheers Pops

Pops - Thanks for sharing those.

After a quick Google search I found a few more…

Although I'm not convinced you could make a panel kit that would look like any of these when bolted to one of these.

Having said that, the first two (red & yellow) cars you posted do look like they are working with the Smart car's curved door.

And we have all followed the miracles that Chris & Dan create @ Tribute.

Personally, I think they would need to convert the roadster into a Coupe (like the Z3 to SWB 250 conversion).

Then aim for something like this.

But extend both the bonnet and boot away from the wheels until it was a bit closer to the real proportions.

Cheers, Paul.

Most of the Smart/Micro Car size cars I have seen are Photoshops.
Here a a couple of real ones.

Both built by Ron Berry.

Your right, Photoshop renders for all I posted, do like the micro bus though that's food for thought.
