Default Windscreen wiper arms.

What are the correct wiper arms ?
The ones I have will hit the windscreen and some others I have don't clear the bonnet.

I presume you have had the linkage modified? Ed had problems with his too, is it a travel problem?

No all the linkages and bits have been modified its the actual wiper arms themselves - the ones I took off the 827 have an odd shape to them which when they move from the park position the cast bottom part will hit the windscreen. I had another set which bent upwards so would easily clear the windscreen but these catch the bonnet instead.
If I knew which arms fitted properly I could order a new set.
Might be a case of trawling the scrap yard and collecting up as many various sets and seeing which work best.

Ken
Mine were definitely the ones off the donor, no fouling problems at all?

Had a trawl round the scrappy, all the rover 800 arms had the same bend in them so must be later 800 ones that I have as well.
Found a set which work o.k. but park rather high up on the windscreen. Some audi ones had the perfect shape but the mounting hole was too small but if it was drilled out the tapered splined part on the back would then be lost.
Ah well, another thing to go on the list of things to be tweeked after SVA.
