Hi, I found this site through intrest in the MX250. And this alternate version might look even better, I was wondering if these body panels would someday become available to self builders?

You never know. Depends if lots if people like the end result that's why im going down their to see how its developing, end of the month. See if can give him some help. I find its best to stand back from a distance to see overall design so all the lines connect and flow. Don't think Chris has got time for standing for too long.

if you've got deep enough pockets and time. Fibreglass can be shaped and molded to lots of shapes. Eg bonnet vents, wing vents wide arches ,narrower arches . Spot lights. Styles can be classic or concept or a mixture. Slats or mesh on the grill. Skys the limits with chris's skills :-)

smilies such fun to pass the time. Don't know how to post pics so I'll put this in words. Am at a point where lights and door handles, chrome bits and bobs will be going on. Well which ones to go on kind of stage. Any thoughts on the new mini door handles instead of classic mini handles. Tailights wether to use one with break lights and indicator eg lotus exige led tailights or old school or as Chris says, period lights like on the 250 kit.

What's your thoughts on bonnet bulges and vents. Id fit 16 wire wheels but theyd be gone by the the next day where i live. I'm tempted to go concept style to allow for my wheels. Which just means lights and chrome work but different wheels. Only thing is id prob tweek it later to my style. So gonna go with period tailights to go with the headlights. Just not sure bout door handles coz their seems to be two types. Barchetta on some and others with seperate and release button.

Doh! Barchetta style . Then some have a handle and a seperate button release that seem to be sunk into the door.

I like the bonnet vent shown above rather than the 3x bulges. Don't mind either door handle idea, just so long as we lose the MX5 handles.

Any idea where to get the side repeaters. Look from a motorbike. Short and skinny.

Not sure what the top car is, but it looks very similar to
the Jaguar XK 180. All you twin hump freaks take note!

I have a spare set of Aston Martin DB4 wire wheels.

They are 15" with the 42mm hub. I had some hub adaptors made for my Z3 by Orson (http://www.orson-equipment.co.uk/). It might be worth contacting Dave Woods at Orson to see if they have any ideas about their proofing them. They do loads of different hubs.

I must also add that this looks great, especially without the roof! love the idea and concept, hope it comes off and sells.

Saw kit the other day looks awesome. Lights will be almost like the original with the lense. Grills taking shape nicely. Dropped stainless grill and other wheels . Contemplating wether to go period or concept lighting as found alternative headlights and tailights but till back end is fixed wont know if they will work together. Took a while but i think I've found the right combo.
