Keep up the good work
I like what you are doing here, but the text disappears quickly, and can I put in a request for different backing music?
Keep up the good work! On and the car wash video is great.

I will change the music for the next one. It was the first free file I downloaded and just reused it.
I originally had the text and pictures up for 5 seconds instead of 3 but it seemed quite slow so I shortened it. I guess that is because I knew what it said so could read it more quickly. I will show it for longer on the next one.
Any subjects or suggestions for topics welcome.

After 12 weeks of daily injections into my stomach I looked more like a druggy than a finely toned athlete

Wonder if Chris&Dan could do a job on your bodywork- it would end up primer white of course...

I'm guessing it was Heparin to stop clots around the wound from killing you.
I got comprehensive instructions from a Nursey on how to inject that - stick the pointy end into your belly and press the blunt end. Great bedside manner.

Just back from a couple of weeks in the south of France sitting in sunshine, drinking the local pastis and browsing YouTube. i found a few clips that might be useful for people.
I will post the originals showing what you SHOULD do and then, perhaps, try the techniques myself to show you what can happen when you try to copy someone for the first time. Might be good to have some "HOW (not) TO" videos on here.
You will notice that most of these are Advertorials for Eastwood products. I have never used Eastwood and don't even know if it is available over here but they do quite informative videos. Not endorsing or criticising the product.
First of three parts on using body filler. I might do a short clip of this

Panel gaps and how to get them right. I will be doing this on my SWB bonnet panel when I get it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gms-PS2GcOE
Home painting. Really not sure if I will try this but I might
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHEOmH0UILg
If I do I will try to learn how to this time instead of my last 'just do it' technique
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_9WQmicyJU
That should give you a little viewing pleasure while I prep my own videos which will give you even less!

Beaulieu is £24 per adult!!!
Only good thing is that if you tick the Gift Aid box they give you an annual pass which as I live nearby, and they have lots of car events there, works out quite good value.
Anyway, they have a monorail : https://youtu.be/eUgGlcL9voY

Nice videoing. Can you do it and talk on the phone like a numpty did driving towards me today
Between the red engine cover and cleaning the MAF you appear to have gained 10bhp. Wait till you fit the flowerpot!
What happens at 4700 or so rpm in third that causes the flat spot? Or is it the traction control kicking in?

TC turned off. I will check the video and see if I can work it out.
Remember this is on a private road ending in a big brick wall which is why I bottled the first run and got a bad 70-80 increment. Also why there are only two runs not three, apparently "Yeah, you can use it" meant at the weekends only :-(
[EDIT]
I have listened back. The engine drops to around the 4700 mark at about 80mph which is when I lift. It is me running out of road/balls that causes the apparent flat spot which is why it isn't there in other gears.
If you listen at about 70mph you can hear what sounds a bit like a dump valve... ...or possibly a skip plate scraping the ground. Not the smoothest road either :-(
If only I had free access to an air field or similar.

If it's you and not the motor, you must be taking your foot off at about 77-78 mph, coasting until about 82 then accelerating back to 90 to frighten that pesky wall! That'll bugger up your 70-80 measurements,
I suggest you start to accelerate 5mph before the speed you want to start measuring at and continue past your final measurement speed. Your gear changes are consistent which is good otherwise I'd suggest accelerating in a single gear without making a change.
Good job though.
