Default Ratel Z4 -Japenese kit car

As I watch the uk kit car scene change, manufacturers and models get fewer
Its easy to forget that there are kits being built in other countries.

In fact eastern Europe seems to be manufacturing fibreglass bodies for some of the UK companies.

The one that has caught my eye is based on a BMW Z4, a good donor if you can afford. The surprise is that its built in Japan and that it is a concept cobra inspired.

BMW mini headlamps - tail lights look Alfa Mito .
Front styling is a little square but overall I like it, even if it is a little exaggerated in some proportions.
I don't like the adverse camber on the wheels but I guess im showing my age.

What are peoples thoughts - I think it would sell if available here

Hmm - not sure on the styling, but I'd only give the wheel bearings 1000mls before failure!

Side profile and rear end aren't too bad, the front end and nose don't appear to be in proportion though. I'm not a fan of the cartoon wheels that's for sure !

The Z4 is becoming much more affordable as a donor option, many are cheaper than Z3's now.

Very nice apart from the wheels. Nice to see a car with styling clues rather than a replica. Would consider one if it was UK made and of course price.

Is (as is often used) a wide angle camera making the front look bulbous?
With a bit more subtle styling (and certainly ditch the stupid wheels) that could look very good. Now where's my tub of resin and roll of matting got to

That's a gen 2 Z4, an already large and wide car - I know I've got one - that thing will be impossible to park anywhere just due to the sheer scale of it, it'll be prime candidate to get it's side clipped, defo not for UK roads....But I like it! Like a modern cobra take

Actually from the side it looks like a TVR Tuscan (slightly wider at just over 7 feet!!)
