Hi mate, only one true color for GTO Chris!
I will post some more photos on Monday, so far plan is 8J for front and 10J for the rear.
We have also adjustable suspension on our donor so we will fiddle a bit to see what is the best compromise between wide of the rimm and height of the suspension.
Will post some effects.

No worries about an email, if I am stuck i will give you a call (about the orders as well)

Call anytime, if I don't answer I will be driving an MX250!

Why not start a "New Tread" for the pictures of your car, the more the better.

Hi Roadster, putting this car up for sale as is at Newark, but if it doesn't go straight away will probably go for a Gunmetal Grey metallic.

Default Mk2 wide front arches

The front wheel arches on the Mk2 car that we showed at Newark weren't quite upto scratch. There was way to much filler in them, so now that the car is going to it's new owner on Friday (don't want to steal his thunder, as he will probably post something on here soon) I needed to mould them and make new arches before it went.

Here are the original "filled" version (sorry about the dodgy shadows)

The mould taken from them

Old arch removed

New grp arch tech screwed into place and glassed on the rear

And finally the joint filled with bonding paste and sanded back.

I thought this link below might interest any builders or prospective buyers of a mk2 MX250 GTO. I think he might have copied Chris's idea because it is a very recent build!

Thanks Bladerunner, but most of Jim Simpson's designs predate my project. Simpson Design Kits are very nice quality, but a bit pricey at $8000+.

hey guys,

Firstly, I just love the kit. It looks amazing.

Secondly, is there any way (or hs anyone purchased previously) to get the car to Sydney?

Thanks

Did you make the extended arches Chris or are these off the shelf extensions?

I have messaged Tribute on a couple of occasions regarding importing an MX250c to the US. Can't seem to get a response. Did he bite the dust or is he just not interested in selling his kits in the USA?
