Last week's Classic Car Weekly had a sad article about a collector with a Wedding Car Hire business which had gone up in flames - CCW described one of the cars as a 1930's Beauford! So even the classic experts can be fooled!

I was confused as the car in question is a Sammio.
Unlike a Tribute they require far more skill to assemble.

No bolting on body panels and complaing about millimetre panel gaps.
If you complete a Sammio you have overcome many obstacles and MR T's is one of the best.

Thanks for the compliment Roadster. Building the Sammio was a challenge, yes, but also enormously satisfying. I'd recommend it to anyone who knows their way around a spanner.

The problem with trained engineers is when the 1 way they try doesnt work, the job stops. They only trained 1 way. Back to the drawing board.

Bolt or nut too tight? The jobs stops if you hold it in the middle. Holding it at the right 'end' makes all the leaverage count......

Just ask a sparky. They have all the answers.....

I dont really care if a car is rare if its this ugly.
Which is the front?
Has it Russian styling?
It looks like a shoebox on top of a cornfakes packet!
The guy needs a medal for driving it, let alone around Europe.
