Default Stainless P clips - a little tip...

I decided to replace the 8mm copper fuel pipe with 10mm kunifer as I wasn't happy about 8mm being big enough. So - I had to buy some larger P clips to hold the stuff in place. For some reason I decided to buy stainless clips (last time I had bought the ordinary plated steel version). BIG mistake - the stainless clips are ever so slightly springy and trying to get a screw through them and a nut on whilst upside down under the car is nigh impossible.

My advice to everyone - use ordinary plated steel P clips - they're cheaper and much more user friendly. Looks like another order for Namrick ho hum...

i have to say I've been thinking about replacing the 8mm copper pipes with full braided rubber hose end to end thus avoiding having to go to a smaller pipe - and reducing connection. However thats another 50gbp worth of fuel pipe!

Good tip with the P clips
