Default Fuel tank connection.....help

THIS KITCAR IS DRIVING ME QUITE INSANE!

the aero cap uses 57mm filler pipe. I have 57 mm filler pipe to the tank. But the tank entry pipe is 46mm! Grrrrr

I cant seem to find any adapters to link smaller pipe to the 57mm pipe.

Any ideas on what else I could do? I thought maybe use some 48mm and 52mm collars - just a small length of pipe on the fuel tank to make up the slack but cant find any cut to length.

Can someone give me an idea cos I'm all out of them and tired of trying

Paul

Default Stepped adaptor

Hi
Have a look at Europa Spares web site they supply stepped rubber fuel hose adaptors that could probably be persuaded to fit they do 57mm-50mm and 57-44 mm. www.europaspares.com.
Regards
Andy

There's also some stepped hose reducers on the CBS site, along with rubber ID adaptors:

Something (or a combination) might suit. Give them a call - they seem to be full of helpful hints!

thanks guys - think I have found another solution.
Local fabricators can make up a funnel which fits both pipes I have. I have one of these mild steel reducers from europespares. Trouble is the largest end is exactly the same size as the pipe they supplied - which seems daft as theres no way it fits!
Will see how it turns out next week once the adapters been made up.
