Micky1Mo - Thanks for the photos.

It does look like there is more than one way to make the bonnet hinge work.

Cheers, Paul.

After spending about a year sitting around my workshop/garage, lack of space and lack of pennies mean I have now decided to sell this car.

This thread speaks volumes so have a look

As I have said the has been unused for about a year so it will need an overhaul but it was running fine and every thing did work as it should.
Apart from the fuel tank it is all standard Splifrie so nothing difficault there.
The interiour need finishing ie; side tops need edging, interiour side panel need making/fitting. As the floor pan is orginal Spitfire a standard carpet set will fit.
A good paint job and I think a nice set of wire wheel will finish it off nicely

The V5 says "TRIUMPH COUPE" so no problems there.
1973 so tax exempt.

I want,
A, Say, £2,200 for it as it stands, trailer it away.
B, Say, £2,600 with full MOT, drive it away.
C, Say about, £5,000 with full MOT, nice purple paint job, wire wheels and carpets.

Thought I try here first before the E-Bay idiots

Micky1Mo - If you have the time, I think you'd get more interest with Option B.

If it has an MOT, then buyers know that it really is "good to go".

I'd also suggest a very quick coat of primer so the construction scars don't jump out at you.

Good luck, Paul.

Paul L, I took your advice and spent some time on the body work and gave it a quick lick of etch primer and the results speak for them selves

With out hump.

All in all I think it looks pretty good, reminds me of a small cobra.
Now it's on E-Bay.

I'm always amazed at the impact getting a car in a single colour makes.

Good luck with the sale.

Cheers, Paul.

PS
Before this one goes, can you get a line up photo with your three 'Sammio' projects together?
